The CrossFit Inland Valley Open is fast approaching. 

There is a sign-up sheet on the “Upcoming Events” board, please sign-up A.S.A.P.

This event is for anyone who would like to participate. Whether you are a competitor, a new comer, a CFIV Member, a non-member, a teen, or a master, you are welcome to join us in this event.

The CFIV Open is a 5-week, in house CrossFit Competition; therefore, it will be ran as such. Every Saturday you will check-in, receive a scorecard and a heat time, warm-up in the designated area, be judged during your WOD, be eligible for prizes, etc.

There will be 3 Divisions each for both males and females: RX, Masters, and Scaled/Teen.

The Open will begin March 9th and end April 6th, and will be held every Saturday in between. (March 9, 16, 23, 30 and April 6)

The deadline to sign-up is March 2nd to receive the following prices: $65 for the entire 5-weeks of competition. (If you are unable to make one of the Saturdays, we can schedule an alternate day for you to make-up the workout), $50 if you are participating in both the Whole Life Challenge and the CFIV Open. Registration fee will include an exclusive athlete/spectator only CFIV Open t-shirt, participation for all 5 Saturdays, access to the CFIV Scoreboard (and the CrossFit Open Scoreboard for the RX Division on games.crossfit.com), and grant you eligibility for all prizes. We will also allow drop-ins to compete for $15 at the door each individual Saturday.

There will be prizes given out each week, as well as at the end of the entire Open for the top male and female in each division. The final prizes and overall winners will be announced on April 13th at our CFIV BBQ, which will also include our winners of the WLC.

Believe me when I say, THIS EVENT IS FOR EVERYONE!  You are going to have a blast!  Be a part of it and you won’t regret it, I promise!

All Levels:

Skill/Strength work:  5×50′ barbell weighted overhead walk, heaviest possible, rest as needed.

5 rounds of:

10 lateral jumps over paralettes

50m sprint, 50m back pedal

5 burpees

(rest as needed between rounds)
