5-Week Fat Loss Challenge participants, meet your new best friend.
No doubt you like to come home to the delicious smell of a home-cooked meal. Sitting down and eating a meal with your loved ones is a great way to keep families close and unwind after a long day. However, busy schedules and hectic workdays can often get in the way of putting time and effort into preparing a hearty meal. Well, we’re not only about efficiency of movement at CFIV, we’re also about efficiency of food prep as well.
Enter the Crock-Pot (slow-cooker).
This is by far one of the best ways to get a tasty, nutritious meal prepared with very little effort. Simply gather a hunk of meat like some pork loin or london broil. Season it and brown it in a pan. Then add something like a little chicken broth and any vegetables you like such as carrots, celery, onions, tomatoes…etc. The possibilities really are endless. Turn the Crock-Pot on before you leave the house and let it do its magic for a few hours.
Not only will you come home to a savory-smelling home but your dinner will be warm and ready for you as soon as you walk into the kitchen. Win, win.
