Have you ever wondered what your coaches do when with their time when they are not coaching?  I’ll tell you what they do.  They stay ACTIVE!

One of the many wonderful things about CrossFit,  is the fact that the resulting health and fitness that you obtain from doing it, can be applied to so many fun activities.  No matter what activities you choose, it’s nice to know that your time “in the box” helps you to prepare for whatever fun challenges you choose.

Recently, Coach Carlie, Coach Danielle and Coach Chrissy decided to apply their “CrossFitness” to some fun weekend events.  Carlie participated in the TCA Fall Kickoff Weightlifting Meet hosted by our friends at Team CrossFit Academy located up in Monrovia.  Carlie went up there and gave it her all with the help and guidance from her awesome Oly Coach Al.  Way to represent!

Last weekend you could find our amazing duo, Danielle and Chrissy spending some time on the bike.  How’s 100 miles sound!  Crazy right?!  Congratulations to the both of them for finishing the Amtrak Century Ride in such an awesome fashion.  They didn’t just finish, they performed well!  Keep in mind, this was done with very minimal time in the seat training.  They just applied their “CrossFitness” and went out and represented!  Great job ladies!

So how do you top top riding your bike 100 miles, fly to Philadelphia and run a half marathon!  That’s exactly what Chrissy did!  Chrissy completed the Philadelphia Rock ‘n’ Roll Half  in under 2 hours!  Great job Chrissy!  I can’t wait to see what you do next weekend!
