It’s getting warmer these days…and the temperature is probably just going to keep rising as we head deeper into summer. We’re pretty luck to have some cross-ventilation and fans going on in the gym during those hotter days but the thing that will keep you going best is water.

It’s a pretty simple thing to recommend. However, the rising temp makes it that much more important that you get adequate amounts of H2O during the summer months. Keep yourself hydrated throughout the day – if you’re feeling thirsty, you’re probably already dehydrated. Grab a water bottle and fill it with ice water before you head in for your workout. Go easy on the caffeine on hotter days and maybe even reach for a coconut water that will help replenish all the fluids lost during your workout.

Heat related illness is no joke. Hydration is just another preparation like mobility that needs to be done before you actually need it.
