With all the squat variations we do and other movements where the knee joint is taken into flexion and extension, those guys can get a little angry at us from time to time. Sometimes the pain has a sudden onset whereas other times that pain is an accumulation of time spent in bad position. Depending on where that pain is coming from it can be a manifestation of stuff going on up- or downstream from the problem area.
