Special thanks to our photographer and active-duty Marine, George, not only for his excellent shots of Memorial Day Murph at CFIV but, more importantly, his service to our country as well.
Thanks to all that came out yesterday to pay tribute to Lt. Michael Murphy and to honor all soldiers that have made the ultimate sacrifice in service of our country. We had such a diverse group of participants giving their all. It was a very inspiring scene to witness seasoned CrossFitters, active-duty military personnel, teenagers, recent On-Ramp grads as well as future On-rampers, who could not wait until tomorrow to get in on the action, all taking part side by side.
A special thank-you to Andre for his inspirational speech to kick things off. His words made sure everyone was in the right mindset before taking on the challenge of yesterday’s tribute WOD. The support for each other and the community spirit was a fitting way to spend the morning that so many see as just another holiday.
Thank you to all that participated and a big thank you goes out to our men and women who serve our country especially those with whom we have the privilege of working out.

I am going to miss out on today’s workout. Today is my rest day, out of all days it’s Dead lift day. Could I make it up tomorrow?
No problem, Andre. You can make it up tomorrow. Also, we’ll be following a general strength progression throughout the summer that includes deadlifts.
Oh man! We have missed the crossfit family! It feels like forever! We missed putting in work doing Murph! We will be back putting in some work tomorrow hopefully. See you on the other side!
