el·e·men·ta·ry

[el-uh-men-tuh-ree, -tree]
adjective
1. pertaining to or dealing with elements, rudiments, or first principles.

Much of the movement patterns that you see in so-called “athletic” people is usually the result of an early foundation. An active childhood leads to a healthy relationship with exercise later in life. The enjoyment of play mixed with natural movement patterns like running, jumping and catching not only aid athletic development but has also been shown to lead to scholastic improvement as well. Healthy body, healthy mind.

We are pleased to announce that beginning April 10, we will offer Inland Valley Kids classes. The classes will run on Tuesday and Thursday late afternoons from 4:30pm – 5pm for kids 5-10 years old. The children will learn basic movement principles in a fun and friendly environment. We will be putting the FUN back into FUNdamentals!

  1. This is Jack “CrossFit Convert” from Afghanistan. Just wanted to thank you all. Will P has been running a phenomenal “foundations” program out here for everyone and anyone who’s willing – I dont know how he manages the time. But its been very educational, goal-oriented, and even culminated in Murph (respectfully asrx!) and a 20% increase in my baseline CrossFit Total!

I thought I knew what fitness was. I clearly did not. My squats used to suck, my mobility used to suck, and I wasnt as “functional” as I thought I was (Slaying my goats one by one!). Since completing my training with him, Will has steered me to this page and CrossFit Journal – amazing! So again, thank you guys so much, you’re doing something absolutely right in Temecula, and from what it sounds like, you all are nuturing a very special community.

You are in great hands with Will. He is a true student of human movement and you are lucky to have such a great athlete like him introduce you to CrossFit.

Most importantly, thank you for your tremendous service. You are always welcome at CrossFit Inland Valley. Please visit us when you’re back home.
