There is much debate about genetically modified foods which are derived from GMOs (genetically modified organisms). It is a complicated issue with many positions. We’ll let the reader do their own research and decide on which side to stand.

However, it’s probably best that these foods be labeled so that the consumer can decide for themselves. Obviously, the best way to avoid the issue altogether is to shop locally but if you’re in a pinch, there are a few useful resources linked below.
