The cool thing for those competing in the CrossFit Games Open is that you can instantly see where your numbers stack up against the world’s best. However, especially if you’re early in your CF experience, it’s probably not the best idea to make those comparisons just yet. So where can you look besides benchmark WODs to see if you’re progressing in terms of CrossFit’s 10 general skills?
CrossFit Seattle‘s Dave Werner, founder of the very first CrossFit affiliate, has made a great comprehensive list that helps you evaluate progress. It’s called the Athletic Skills List [PDF] and it’s broken down into four skill levels – Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Elite.
