The CrossFit Journal is setting out to encourage CrossFitters to get out of the gym a bit and put their fitness to good use while trying new things. Part of CrossFit’s precription for fitness is “regularly play and learn new sports.” A perfect opportunity to keep true to this recommendation is the first event in the CrossFit Journal Sports Series: Waterman’s WOD/ Stand-Up Paddling Event taking place this Saturday in Newport Beach. The event is open to everyone – first time stand-up paddle boarders and more experienced boarders who may have never tried CrossFit.
